Plant Care Specialist

As a Plant Care Specialist you will need to be able to work independently and possess a genuine desire to service customers by taking the best possible care of their plants. Do you share the mission to create healthy, happy, productive spaces using the theory of biophilic design?

Key Duties

• Plant Maintenance
  • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all indoor plants, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and repotting as needed.
• Diagnosis and Treatment
  • Monitor plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies, and take appropriate measures to address any issues promptly.
    
• Client Interaction
  • Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding their plants.
  • Create a plant document describing your visit and send to each client at the end of the day.
• Interior/Exterior Plant Maintenance and Living Wall Maintenance
  • Maintain ALL plants by ensuring proper irrigation, pruning, and replanting as necessary to preserve the integrity and aesthetic appeal of the installation.
• Record Keeping
  • Keep detailed records of plant care activities, including watering schedules, fertilization routines, and any treatments administered.
• Supplies Management
  • Manage inventory of plant care supplies, including soil, fertilizers, pesticides, and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
• Continued Learning
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in indoor plant care techniques and technologies, and incorporate new knowledge into daily practices.
    

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search
• Previous experience in indoor plant care or horticulture preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, care requirements, and common pests and diseases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for plant health and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy pots and equipment as needed.
• Passion for plants and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Account Manager

Carmel, IN

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting new clients, and closing sales for our range of green installations, including living walls, moss walls, plants, and other green solutions.

Responsibilities

• Stay Educated
  • Learn about the different types of greenery installation, including: living walls, moss walls, artificial greenery, plants, plantscapes, landscapes, etc.
  • Have some knowledge of popular indoor plants
  • Learn the different types of moss
  • Learn the benefits of biophilic design and why it is so important

• Lead Generation
  • Proactively identify and pursue leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
• Client Prospecting
  • Research and understand prospective clients' needs, challenges, and preferences to tailor sales pitches and solutions effectively
• Proposal Development
  • Prepare detailed proposals and quotes for clients, outlining project scope, timelines, pricing, and terms and conditions in alignment with company policies and standards.
• Relationship Building
  
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and offering personalized solutions that meet their specific requirements. 

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license - may need to drive to and from client meetings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions clearly and persuasively
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results. 
• Ability to work independently AND collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
